This news article about statehood for Puerto Rico is full of United States Government (USG) propaganda. There is a lot of history that has been purposefully left out to make the USG look better. The only big truth in this article is that Puerto Ricans’ political status is a human rights issue! Do you know that President McKinley offered to buy Cuba and Puerto Rico, but Spain refused to sell them? Then, the USG created the controversy over a United States’ ship that blew up in Cuba to go to war with Spain to take her colonies.
Do you know that the USG classified Puerto Ricans as being an inferior race to deny them to be extended the United States (US) Constitution? The USG achieved that by creating the non-incorporated territories that the US Supreme Court said that that meant that Puerto Rico belongs to but is not a part of the US. Do you know that the USG never intended for Puerto Rico to ever become a state of the United States? That is why the Treaty of Paris of 1898 says that the rights of the Natives ceded to the USG by Spain shall be determined by the USG.
It should now makes perfect sense to everyone why Trumps doesn’t care about how many Puerto Ricans died from Hurricane Maria, because they belong to an inferior race to him!
What people call the government of Puerto Rico is really the USG’s colonial administration of Puerto Rico. The Puerto Rico government does not represent the Puerto Ricans. That is why the so-called governor agrees with Trump that the USG did an excellent job following Hurricane Maria. And that is why Ricardo Rosello is willing to be that fall-guy for Trump!
We need to learn our real history to realize that Puerto Ricans can’t negotiate their human rights issues with the USG, because we are not the right kind of humans to the USG. Puerto Ricans have no right that the USG has to respect. Therefore, Puerto Ricans needs to decolonize themselves via the United Nations (UN).

Do you know that the USG has ignored 37 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans?
