The US’ attack on the First Amendment

By José M. López Sierra – Puerto Rico

The following is an interesting video about the United States (US) Government (USG) trying to punish Julian Assange. He acted totally within the law, but has infuriated the USG by publishing information that proves that it is operating above the law. Click on the following link to watch that video: https://youtu.be/Ubknv_CxSUY

The USG demands transparency from China about the coronavirus, but it does not want its operations to be transparent to anyone!

Julian’s work is worth much more than the 138 Emmys that 60 Minutes has received for its corporate journalism. I proposed to 60 Minutes that it should feature Puerto Rico decolonization 2 years ago. It never responded. Obviously, it does not want to see itself in the same position as Julian. That is exactly Julian’s contempt for the main stream media!

It is time that we admit that the USG is a lawless state. The USG is the one that should be put on trial for criminal acts, and not Julian. Noam Chomsky calls those people in the USG, gangsters! You could see that clearly in the way that the USG has treated Puerto Rico for the past 121 years.

The USG has never complied with the United Nations’ (UN) Charter of 1945 that prohibits colonialism. Moreover, the USG has ignored with impunity 38 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. http://webtv.un.org/watch/5th-meeting-committee-of-24-special-committee-on-decolonization/6051725003001/

Assange told 60 Minutes that he acted within the ideals of the establishment of the US. WikiLeaks’ purpose is providing the truth to the people, so that they could decide what to do with it.

“We the People” are the sovereign. Do we want our government to be above the law? If we don’t, we need to force the government to operate within our Constitution.

We must, because, those who have contempt for the sovereign’s freedom of expression, don’t believe in LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL! www.TodosUnidosDescolonizarPR.blogspot.com

That attack is on the 99.9% of us!
