The United States (US) has used her currency, since the end of World War II, to rule the world. The US, however, depends more on other nations today, than the other way around. As the world de-dollarizes, the US will not be able to pull the plug on nations that want to develop independently of the US. Nations could then be able to govern for their own citizens. Democracy will finally be possible.
