What is the aim of BRICS +?
For the past 75 years, the United States (US) has held the world hostage with its unipolar world order. This has allowed only the G-7 nations – France, US, United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, Italy and Canada- to prosper at the expense of all others. BRICS +, therefore, wants to put an end to that! BRICS has already surpassed the wealth of the G-7. That is great news for democracy, and for the rule of law. The G-7 has done whatever it has wanted to, because of its wealth and military might. The wars in Ukraine and Gaza are excellent examples of that.
In the case of Gaza, the G-7 has defiantly disregarded the orders of the International Court of Justice about preventing genocide against the Palestinians in their own homeland.
Moreover, in the case of Puerto Rico, the US has consistently refused to comply with 42 United Nations resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.
BRICS +, therefore, is an attempt to create a real democratic world order where all nations win, instead of just a few.
The G-7 hates win-win relationships!
