Profit not democracy

By José M. López Sierra

The United States (US) has once again demonstrated that its priority is to make profits for its oligarchs, and not have all of its citizens enjoy democracy.

The US has committed its most recent act of war by bombing a beach in Crimea, and killing civilians. Please click on this link for more: https://youtu.be/in9v3pf8DgA

President Kennedy tried to make friends with the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. He was, unfortunately, assassinated before he could do that by the same likeminded people who still govern the US.

The US has maintained Puerto Rico as its colony for the past 126 years. The United Nations (UN) has issued 42 resolutions demanding that it immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. The US’ “free press” hides these hearings, because it does not want people to know that the US is committing a crime against humanity.

The UN recently celebrated its annual hearing on Puerto Rico decolonization on Thursday, June 20, 2024. You can watch it by clicking on these links: https://webtv.un.org/en/asset/k1w/k1wb1xdn6i and https://webtv.un.org/en/asset/k15/k154ku9q8x.

The US will also ignore this year’s resolution too, because Puerto Rico means big profits for US oligarchs. Puerto Ricans must, therefore, engage in permanent resistance to force the US to comply with international law.

The US is the best “democracy” that oligarch’s could buy!
