Muchos boricuas que quieren la descolonización de su patria han inventado varias maneras para lograrlo. Pero, ¿Por qué reinventar la rueda?
Cuando se estableció la Organización de Naciones Unidas (ONU) en el 1945, su Carta específicamente prohíbe el colonialismo. Por lo tanto, cualquier nación que tiene a otra nación como colonia está cometiendo un crimen en contra de la humanidad, porque eso amenaza la paz mundial. ¿Cuál fue la repuesta del Gobierno de Estados Unidos (GEU)?
Después de la insurrección nacionalista del 30 de octubre de 1950, el GEU decidió esconder el hecho que Puerto Rico ha sido su colonia desde el 1898. Como don Pedro Albizu Campos rehusó cooperar con ese engaño, el GEU logró el respaldo de don Luis Muñoz Marín.
El GEU creo el Estado Libre Asociado (ELA) de Puerto Rico en el 1952. En el 1953, el GEU le pidió a la ONU que saque a Puerto Rico de su lista de colonias. El GEU alegó que Puerto Rico había logrado su gobierno propio vía el ELA.
La ONU sacó a Puerto Rico de su lista, y, hasta el día de hoy, permanece fuera. ¡Por lo tanto, la colonia más vieja y más poblada del mundo no aparece en esa lista!
¿Sabe usted que la ONU ha emitido 38 resoluciones pidiéndole al GEU que devuelva inmediatamente la soberanía de Puerto Rico a los puertorriqueños? ¡El GEU las ha ignorado todas! ¿Cómo ha logrado el GEU hacer eso con impunidad? http://webtv.un.org/watch/5th-meeting-committee-of-24-special-committee-on-decolonization/6051725003001/
Lo hace, porque eso no se enseña en las escuelas. Tampoco, eso no se menciona en los medios de comunicación. ¿Sabe usted que la prensa no le informa al público sobre las vistas anuales en la ONU para discutir el crimen del GEU en contra de la humanidad por negarse a descolonizar a Puerto Rico? ¿Qué podríamos hacer?
Seguramente, nosotros no tenemos que reinventar la rueda, o inventar un embeleco. Todo boricua que apoya la descolonización de su país debería hacer una campaña intensiva para sacar la verdad. Si los boricuas estuvimos dispuestos a sacar a Ricky Rosselló después que supimos la verdad, nosotros también haríamos lo mismo para obligar al GEU a cumplir con la Carta de la ONU y sus 38 resoluciones. ¡Las asambleas de pueblo que se están dando actualmente dentro y fuera de Boriken son ideales para discutir esas verdades!

Many Boricuas who want to decolonize their homeland have invented various ways to accomplish it. But, why would anybody want to reinvent the wheel?
When the United Nations (UN) was established in 1945, its Charter specifically prohibits colonialism. Therefore, a nation having another nation as her colony is committing a crime against humanity, because that is a threat against world peace. What was the United States Government’s (USG) response to that?
After the Puerto Rican Nationalist’s uprising of October 30, 1950, the USG decided to hide the fact that Puerto Rico has been a colony of the USG since 1898. After Pedro Albizu Campos refused to help the USG in hiding that fact, it got Luis Muñoz Marín to agree to it.
The USG created the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico in 1952. Then in 1953, the USG asked the UN to remove Puerto Rico from its list of colonies. The USG alleged that Puerto Ricans had achieved self-government with their new status of “Estado Libre Asociado de Puerto Rico”.
The UN removed Puerto Rico from its list, and she is still today absent from that list! Therefore, the oldest and most populated colony in the world is not on the official UN list of colonies!
Do you know that the UN has issued thus far 38 resolutions asking the USG to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans? The USG has ignored them all! The USG does, because schools don’t teach that. The media never talks about it either. Do you know that the media doesn’t even inform the public about the annual UN hearings concerning the USG committing a crime against humanity by refusing repeatedly to decolonize Puerto Rico? What can we do?
We certainly don’t have to reinvent the wheel, or invent a gimmick! Everyone who supports Puerto Rico decolonization should begin an intensive campaign to get this truth out. If Puerto Ricans were willing to engage in massive permanent protesting once they knew what Ricky Roselló was up to, we would also do the same to force the USG to comply with the UN’s Charter and its 38 resolutions! The town assemblies currently being celebrated in and out of Boriken are ideal for spreading the word.
We have the wheel. What we need now is the Boricua tsunami to push it, until we decolonize ourselves. Let’s get started, because those who are criminals don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/
