The United States (US), the so-called «champion of democracy», prefers to protect «freedom of navigation» than to protect the indigenous people of Palestine against genocide. Not only is the US today unconditionally supporting the genocide against the Palestinians, but it is also attacking Yemen for trying to protect them! The US is in fact the champion of imperialism. That is why while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens, 40 million Americans live in poverty, and 201 million more live from paycheck to paycheck.
And, that is why the US has consistently refused to comply with 42 United Nations’ resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. No wonder the world regards the US as the biggest threat to peace. The champion of imperialism, however, has never cared about justice and peace.
Only democracies care about justice and peace.
