Many more people will have a rude awakening to the fact that the United States (US) does not have a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. Many more people will know, after the coronavirus pandemic, that the US government USG) represents only 1% of its citizens. Because that is so, the USG militarily invaded Puerto Rico in 1898 to make her its colony. Because that is so, the USG has never complied with the United Nations’ (UN) Charter of 1945 that prohibits colonialism. Because that is so, the USG has ignored 38 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.
