Many Puerto Ricans don’t know they’re slaves

After 121 years of Puerto Rico being a colony of the United States (US) government (USG), many Puerto Ricans don’t know that they are slaves. They actually believe that they are free, and participate in elections to choose their own government. But if that were so, why are more Puerto Ricans living away from our national territory?

The USG has molded the hearts and minds of Puerto Ricans by hiding our own history. Many Puerto Ricans don’t know that, by the time the USG militarily invaded Puerto Rico, we had already obtained self-government from Spain in 1897.

Many Puerto Ricans don’t know that the USG is committing a crime against humanity by maintaining Puerto Rico as its colony. That is why the United Nations’ (UN) Charter of 1945 prohibits colonialism.

Many Puerto Ricans don’t know that the UN has a Puerto Rico decolonization hearing every year. This year’s hearing scheduled for Monday, June 22, 2020 was postponed because of the coronavirus. These annual hearings are not advertised in the media. Click on the following link to watch last year’s hearing: http://webtv.un.org/watch/5th-meeting-committee-of-24-special-committee-on-decolonization/6051725003001/

Many Puerto Ricans don’t know that the UN has asked the USG in 38 resolutions to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. The USG has ignored them all!

Why has it been so difficult to decolonize Puerto Rico? It has, because of the same reason Harriet Tubman could not free a thousand more slaves. Many Puerto Ricans don’t even know that they are slaves! Click on the following link for more: https://youtu.be/bduwBNoB-Mw

We must, therefore, deprogram the minds of these Puerto Ricans. Before we can decolonize Puerto Rico, we must decolonize Puerto Ricans’ minds. We must begin by providing real information.

Organize and engage in resistance to force the USG to comply with the will of the international community. We must, because those who colonize, don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! http://www.todosunidosdescolonizarpr.blogspot.com/

We need more Moseses.
