NBC interviewed Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at his church 11 months before he was assassinated in Memphis, Tennessee.
Dr. King spoke about the 3 evils of the United States Government, racism, economic exploitation and militarism. He believed that they were intertwined, and that you could get rid of one without the others. I believe he is correct.
The interest of the 1% to own all of the wealth for itself drives it to treat others as property. And, in order to take away other people’s wealth outside its nation, it must have the most powerful military in the world. To finance that, it must ignore the needs of its own people.
