The United States’ (US) Pledge of Allegiance ends with …”and justice for all.” Is justice really for all? Please click on this link for a brief history of The Pledge: https://youtu.be/BPoPVo1-nnE
It is important to mention that the US was established from an artificial English colonial settlement that involved the genocide of the indigenous people of North America. Was justice for the Native Americans?
Today, the US is unconditionally supporting the artificial colonial settler state of Israel in its genocidal campaign against the indigenous people of Palestine in their own homeland. Is justice for the Palestinians?
The US has consistently refused to comply with 42 United Nations’ resolutions demanding that it immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. Is justice for the Puerto Ricans?
38 million Americans live today in poverty, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens. Is justice for the 38 million Americans living in poverty?
It seems that justice, in the US’ Pledge of Allegiance, is only for US oligarchs. Is that under God?
The US is therefore lying when it says that it is the champion of democracy. The US, instead, is the champion of plutocracy!
How could Americans be pledging loyalty to that?
