Judge of democracy

By José M. López Sierra – Puerto Rico

InfoAlDesnudo

The United States (US) government (USG) believes that it is the judge of which government is democratic. The USG’s only test for democracy is whether a nation’s government is willing to follow its orders.

US President Biden held a 2 day summit on democracy in December 2021. https://www.state.gov/summit-for-democracy/

Do you know that 61% of the US citizens are dissatisfied with their government? That is an “F” grade! Do you know that the Gallup Polls show that the world considers the USG as the biggest threat to peace? And, do you know that China was not invited to that summit?

Over 90% of Chinese, contrary to US citizens, are satisfied with their government. Therefore, shouldn’t the people of the nation be the ones to judge whether their government is democratic, instead of the USG?

An excellent example of citizens’ dissatisfaction with the US’ so-called “democracy” is Puerto Rico. The USG militarily invaded her in 1898 to make her its colony. That violates the United Nations’ (UN) Charter of 1945 that prohibits colonialism for being a crime against humanity. The USG has ignored 40 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0.

And yet, President Biden had the audacity to say, “Democracy doesn’t happen by accident. We have to defend it, strengthen it, and renew it.”

The USG is an outlaw state. If US citizens don’t believe we have a democracy, then we really don’t. We must, therefore, engage in permanent resistance to make the USG represent all of us. https://todosunidosdescolonizarpr.blogspot.com/

Only the people could rightfully judge democracy.
