Is this really advice for the US Press?

By José M. López Sierra – Puerto Rico

United States (US) President Kennedy gave a speech to the press about its responsibility to both the public and to its country. President Kennedy’s artistically written and delivered speech was well received by the press. Click on the following link to hear his 1961 speech: https://youtu.be/zdMbmdFOvTs

Careful analysis of US history will reveal that the United States Government (USG) has bullied nations that have not been able to defend themselves. Countries that hate the USG have good reasons to. Proof of that is the fact that the world today regards the USG as the biggest threat to world peace. President Kennedy’s speech is the same kind of propaganda used by the Nazi. Joseph Goebbels, who was its propaganda minister, said that, you must accuse the other side of the things you are guilty of. That is what Kennedy did in his speech to the press!

At the time of Kennedy’s speech, the USG had been 16 years in violation of the United Nations’ (UN) Charter that prohibits colonialism as it refuses still today to decolonize Puerto Rico.

At the time of Kennedy’s speech, the USG had witnessed, 11 years earlier, the Nationalist Party’s insurrection for Puerto Rico independence on October 30, 1950.

At the time of Kennedy’s speech, the USG had tried to hide, 9 years earlier, the fact that Puerto Rico is a US colony by calling it the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, and allowing Puerto Ricans to supposedly elect their own governor in 1952.

The bottom line is that the USG and the press have always worked together to govern the US exclusively for the interest of the 1%. Thus, Kennedy’s speech was a show to fool the public that the US is a democracy.

The USG controls the UN. Therefore, we can’t expect the UN to decolonize Puerto Rico. Do you know that the UN refuses to broadcast live its annual Puerto Rico decolonization hearing in June on radio and television on permanent basis? Is that for the benefit of Puerto Ricans?

To achieve our decolonization, the near 9 million Puerto Ricans worldwide will have to engage in permanent resistance to force the USG to comply with the UN’s Charter, and its 38 resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. http://webtv.un.org/watch/5th-meeting-committee-of-24-special-committee-on-decolonization/6051725003001/

We must unite, because those who use propaganda to hide their crimes against humanity don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/

It’s all US propaganda.
