How could the US be a democracy, when the world considers the US to be the biggest threat to peace?
How could the US be a democracy, when it has maintained an illegal economic blockade against Cuba for more than 6 decades?
How could the US be a democracy, when it is financing today the artificial colonial settler state of Israel’s genocide against the indigenous people of Palestine?
And, how could the US be a democracy, when it hypocritically says that it supports Taiwan’s inalienable right to self-determination and independence, while it has consistently refused to comply with 42 United Nations’ resolutions demanding that it immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans?
The US must be an empire, because it looks, walks, and quacks like an empire.
