The fact of the matter is that the world considers the US government (USG) as the biggest threat to peace according to Gallup Polls.
In the case of Puerto Rico, the USG has refused to comply with the United Nations’ (UN) Charter of 1945 that prohibits colonialism, because it is a crime against humanity.
Moreover, the USG has ignored 40 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. How could the USG claim to be the beacon of democracy? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0
More Puerto Ricans live today away than in our national territory, because Puerto Rico has a poverty rate of 43.42%. But of course, that is what a colony is for!
