US independence but not for PR

By José M. López Sierra – Puerto Rico

InfoAlDesnudo

On Sunday, July 4th, 2021, the United States (US) of America will be celebrating her 245th anniversary of being an independent nation. The self-proclaimed leader of democracy and human rights, nevertheless, decided to make Puerto Rico a US colony 123 years ago. The US government (USG) obviously must believe that independence is not for Puerto Rico. And that is why the world considers the USG as the greatest threat to peace!

The USG, however, believes that Crimea, which is on the other side of the world, should be independent from Russia. So much so, that the USG is willing to send arms and give Crimea military support to help her achieve independence.

But, the real reason for this obsession is that the USG’s hegemony is being threatened by Russia and China. The USG will do whatever it takes not to lose it.

To make it more obvious the USG’s hypocrisy, Russia and China should send their military to rescue Puerto Rico from US colonialism since 1898, and Cuba from more than 60 years of a US blockade that the United Nations (UN) considers illegal. Russia and China should then inform the USG that in order for them to leave Central America, the USG and its allies must abandon the Black Sea. Resistance is the only thing that the USG understands. Remember South Vietnam.

Thus, the 9 million Puerto Ricans worldwide must engage in that kind of permanent resistance against the USG, if we want our independence too. We must push the US government to finally comply with the UN’s Charter that prohibits colonialism for the past 76 years, and also to finally comply with 40 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

People have the government that they deserve. Therefore, if we want freedom, we must fight for it! http://www.todosunidosdescolonizarpr.blogspot.com/

Independence isn’t free.
