The purpose of education is to produce people who could use the evidence before them, and arrive at their own conclusions. If we were doing that today, would 38 million Americans be living in poverty, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are United States (US) citizens?
Would we vote for either Biden or Trump, when we know they both only represent oligarchs? Or, would we vote for a third party candidate, who promises to govern for 100% of Americans?
Why does the US need 800 military bases around the world? Why is the US today sponsoring the artificial colonial settler state of Israel’s genocide against the indigenous people of Palestine? Why does the US desperately want a nuclear war with the Russian Federation? And, why does the US hypocritically say that it supports Taiwan’s inalienable right to self-determination and independence, when it has consistently ignored 42 United Nations’ resolutions demanding that it immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans? That is the opposite of a champion of democracy, which the US proclaims to be!
We need enough independent thinkers to save ourselves from World War III. Can we get them, before the Doomsday Clock strikes midnight?
