If the United States (US) really wants peace, it would have accepted the Russian Federation’s peace proposal made 34 years ago, after the collapse of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. Since the US has always wanted imperialism since its birth as an artificial colonial settler state 248 years ago, it decided instead to make Russia its enemy. Today, the world regards the US as the biggest threat to peace. That designation has been further solidified by the US’ unconditional support for the genocide against the indigenous people of Palestine against international law. The US’ “Rules Based Order” is the opposite of international law.
Because the US wants imperialism instead of peace, it has consistently ignored 42 United Nations’ resolutions demanding that it immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.
