Does democracy cause inflation?

Inflation is when the prices of goods and services go up over 1 or 1.5%. Right now, inflation is about 8% in the United States (US).

The only ones who could raise prices are the employers. Employers are about 1 percent of US citizens. Therefore, inflation is not caused by democracy. On the contrary, inflation is caused by plutocracy!
