Does America protect human rights?

If that were true, would the USA be the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic, with over a million deaths?

If that were true, would the USA be bankrupt, while at the same time, 8 of the 10 richest men in the world are United States citizens?

If that were true, would the USA have maintained Puerto Rico as her colony for 124 years, in violation to the United Nations’ (UN) Charter of 1945 that prohibits colonialism for being a crime against humanity?

If that were true, would the USA have ignored 40 UN resolutions asking her to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

If that were true, would the USA have 800 military bases all over the world, and be regarded by the world as the biggest threat to peace?

And, if that were true, would the USA allow her citizens to kill ourselves at home, in order to allow her 1% capitalists to make huge profits?
