Democracy can’t be profit driven

United States (US) citizens should have learned a very powerful lesson, after the corona virus pandemic. A profit driven economy is the worst economic system for a democracy. That is why the world was shocked that the richest nation in the world became the epicenter of the pandemic. Apparently we have not, because the same US president that presided that catastrophe is running again for president!
The US provoked the proxy war in Ukraine, in order to make US’ oligarchs even richer. The US and its allies have lost that war already, for the very same reason that over a million Americans died due to the pandemic. Please click on this link for more: https://youtu.be/wrlMFFXmbxQ
All US citizens do not benefit from its profit driven economy. Only a very small group does. For example, 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens, while 38 million Americans today live in poverty. Thus, only 33% of Americans right now are satisfied with our government, although the US is supposed to be the “champion of democracy”.
Compare that to the People’s Republic of China that, instead of a profit driven economy, has a purpose driven economy.
China has already eliminated her poverty since 2020, despite having 4 times the US’ population. And, although the US says that China is a dictatorship, 90% of Chinese are satisfied with their government. China’s ability to outperform the US is what the US finds threatening!
So much so, that the US is willing to use Taiwan as a pretext to go to war with her. The US claims that it supports Taiwan’s inalienable right to self-determination and independence. This, of course, is hypocritical on two fronts.
The first being that the US officially recognizes Taiwan as a part of China. Secondly, the US has consistently refused to comply with 42 United Nations’ resolutions demanding that it immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.
The US will not be able to win wars against the Russian Federation or China. The US’ profit driven economy is no match for their purpose driven economies that benefit all of their citizens.
Democracy must be purpose driven!
