Could PR colonialism be solved electorally?

No, because the United States (US) has never been a democracy. The US has always been a plutocracy. This is why a political coalition for the 2024 general elections in Puerto Rico would never decolonize Boriken.
Why didn’t the US choose to colonize Puerto Rico via a democratic electoral process in 1898? The US knew that Puerto Ricans would have never voted to be a US colony. The US, never having been motivated by democracy, elected to militarily invade Puerto Rico instead. So why would anyone believe now that the US suddenly is interested in democracy?
The US says that she allegedly supports “democracy”, because she could use it to divide Puerto Ricans. Why doesn’t she then use the democracy that is recognized by the international community? That version of democracy would not favor US oligarchs!
Do you know that the US has refused to comply with 41 United Nations resolutions asking her to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans? A political coalition for the 2024 elections in Puerto Rico would never be respected by the US government, because it only represents 1% of its citizens? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0
Boricuas Unidos en la Diáspora (https://www.budpr.org/) would do better, in my humble opinion, to advocate for the 9 million Boricuas worldwide to engage in permanent resistance to force the US to comply with international law.
A tsunami of Boricuas is better than the electoral coalition.
