The persecution of Julian Assange is about what anybody should expect if you were to expose the United States government (USG) of crimes. Don’t expect the USG to respect the rule of law. When the International Criminal Court (ICC) decided to investigate the USG for committing war crimes in Afghanistan and Iraq, the USG sanctioned the ICC. The USG, in essence, is a global mafia.
87% of US citizens are dissatisfied with our government. We should be able to force the USG to represent us in a real democracy. If we can’t, then we live in a plutocracy!
