Capitalism sold as democracy

By José M. López Sierra – Puerto Rico

InfoAlDesnudo

Why does the United States (US) sell capitalism as democracy? It does, because employers are only 3% of the US population. If the rest of the  97% of us were to discover that capitalism, like slavery and feudalism, are the furthest thing from democracy, we would revolt like the Russians did.

Communism and socialism are closer to democracy. That is why the US participated with the West to try to defeat the Russian Revolution of 1917. Please click on this link for a short history of that: https://youtu.be/NMtLknSFXa8

Today, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are Americans, 40 million US citizens live in poverty, and another 201 million more live from paycheck to paycheck. Only 28% of Americans are satisfied with their government.

Conversely, the People’s Republic of China has eradicated poverty since 2020, despite having 4 times the US’ population.

The US again deceives us by claiming that it supports Taiwan’s inalienable right to self-determination and independence. If that were true, why has the US consistently refused to comply with 42 United Nations’ resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans? And in the meantime, 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned our national territory (gentrification), and half of the people in Puerto Rico live in poverty!

Capitalism equals democracy is US’ fake news!
