Jennifer Lopez’s Super Bowl half-time performance included, “Born in the USA.” The performance, of course, was spectacular! Click on the following link to watch a small part of it: https://youtu.be/2OxdMJ-kPbI

Today, more Puerto Ricans live away from Puerto Rico. Why?

Puerto Ricans had finally obtained self-government in 1897 by virtue of the Autonomic Charter, after over 4 hundred years of Spanish colonialism.

The United States Government (USG), however, militarily invaded Puerto Rico after only about 4 months of her having enjoyed real self-government, to quickly make Puerto Rico a colony again. Puerto Rico has been a United States (US) colony for the past 121 years.

The only purpose for having a colony is for exploitation. For more than a century, Puerto Rico’s wealth has gone to the US, but yet, supposedly, Puerto Ricans have a huge debt to repay!

Naturally, there are no opportunities in Puerto Rico for Puerto Ricans. Many Puerto Ricans join the US military. More soldiers are recruited to the US military in Puerto Rico than in any of the 50 states of the Union! That, obviously, does not mean that Puerto Ricans are more patriotic than the ones with the first-class citizenship.

Puerto Ricans were made second-class US citizenship against their will in 1917. Puerto Ricans must abandon their homeland to enjoy first-class US citizenship. The USG designed it that way. Click on the following link for more: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XUZxaT9vTB8&t=133s

Consequently, many Puerto Ricans do abandon their homeland for a better life. But that is exactly what the USG wants. Once Puerto Ricans constitute a minority in our own national territory, the USG will make Puerto Rico its 51st state of the Union. Then, for sure, Boricuas will mostly be born in the USA!

Puerto Ricans must educate ourselves to see that coming. Knowing the truth will unite us to fight for our inalienable right to self-determination and independence. We must, because, that is the only way that Puerto Ricans can, like the song also says, “…if you’re gonna live your life, live it all the way and don’t you waste it”.

The almost 9 million Puerto Ricans worldwide need to engage in permanent resistance to force the USG to comply with the United Nations’ Charter that prohibits colonialism, and its 38 resolutions asking repeatedly that the USG immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. http://webtv.un.org/watch/5th-meeting-committee-of-24-special-committee-on-decolonization/6051725003001/

So, being born in the USA, isn’t as grand as the half-time performance made it look. But that, of course, was the deliberate intention of the USG’s propaganda. What is undeniably clear is that those who want our homeland, don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/

And that will constitute genocide!
