The US still has Puerto Rico as its colony from its first taste of imperialism in 1898. Two thirds of Puerto Ricans today have abandoned our national territory. And half of those remaining live in poverty!
The US has ignored 42 United Nations’ resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.
Do US citizens want an empire, or a real democracy? We know the US government’s choice, but are we willing to endorse it?
The US today is the biggest threat to peace.
