The United States (US) government does not believe in spending money to benefit US citizens. That is unfortunate, because spending money on US citizens would prove that the US is truly a democracy.

No wonder the US never endorses the annual United Nations (UN) resolutions against the glorification of Nazism!
Although the US accuses People’s Republic of China of not being a democracy, China has already eradicated poverty at home despite having 4 times the US’ population. The US, on the other hand, still has today 38 million Americans living in poverty!
And, although the US claims to be the champion of democracy, 8 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens. That is great evidence to support that the US is a plutocracy, than a democracy!
Moreover, while the US claims to support Taiwan’s inalienable right to self-determination and independence, she has ignored repeatedly 41 UN resolutions asking her to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. That constitutes a crime against humanity! This month, the UN will once again hold its annual Puerto Rico decolonization hearing, and issue yet another resolution asking for the same thing. The US, instead, encourages Boricuas to engage in confusing and antagonistic plebiscites to supposedly find out what we want.
