Most of the UN member states are asking Israel to stop the massacre of Palestinians in Gaza. Israel refuses on the basis that she has a right to defend herself from the Palestinians for their terrorist attack on Israel.
What inflamed Israel from Guterres’ comment was that the Palestinians’ attack on Israel did not happen “in a vacuum”. He said that the Palestinians have been suffering for 56 years with no hope of having their grievances addressed.
Since Israel was the one that militarily invaded Palestine, it is the Palestinians, under international law, who has the right to use any means necessary to decolonize themselves. Therefore, the Zionists, and not the Palestinians, are the real terrorists!
The United States (US) also thinks that she is above the law. The US has consistently refused to comply with 42 UN resolutions asking her to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0
