Another US’ backed coup

800 military bases around the world are not enough for the United States’ (US) Empire. The US needs one more military base in Bangladesh, as it prepares for war against the People’s Republic of China. Please click on this link for more: https://youtu.be/irlrT3zvsqQ

The US Secretary of State Blinken quickly tweeted after the coup, “I welcome the swearing in of Dr. Muhammad Yunus to lead the interim government of Bangladesh. The US supports his call for calm and peace, and remains committed to working with Bangladesh as it charts a democratic and prosperous future for the people of Bangladesh.”

The US is the same country that is presently and unconditionally supporting the artificial colonial settler regime of Israel in its genocide against the indigenous people of Palestine. Where is the calm and peace, and the charting of a democratic and prosperous future for the people of Palestine?

The US is the same country that today allows 38 million of its own citizens to live in poverty, and 60% to live from paycheck to paycheck. Where is the calm and peace, and the charting of a democratic and prosperous future for 100% of Americans?

And, the US is the same country that has consistently refused to comply with 42 United Nations’ resolutions demanding that it immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. Where is the calm and peace, and the charting of a democratic and prosperous future for Puerto Ricans? After 126 years of US colonialism, two thirds of Puerto Ricans live away from our national territory, and half of those who remain in Puerto Rico live in poverty! https://webtv.un.org/en/asset/k1w/k1wb1xdn6i https://webtv.un.org/en/asset/k15/k154ku9q8x

What we do see is that 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens, and that the world regards the US as the biggest threat to peace.

US is an oligarchy and not a democracy!
