A “democracy” that threatens peace

By José M. López Sierra

The United States US) operates contrary to a real democracy in order to exclusively benefit 1% of its citizens. Here are some examples.

Only 33% of Americans are satisfied with our government, while 90% of Chinese, who the US says lives under a dictatorship, are satisfied with theirs.

38% of Americans live in poverty, while China has eradicated her poverty, despite having 4 times the US’ population.

60% of Americans live today from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the word are US citizens.

The US hypocritically says that it supports Taiwan’s inalienable right to self-determination and independence, while it has consistently refused to comply with 42 United Nations’ (UN) resolutions demanding that it immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. You can watch the most recent Puerto Rico decolonization hearing at the UN by clicking on these 2 links: https://webtv.un.org/en/asset/k1w/k1wb1xdn6i and https://webtv.un.org/en/asset/k15/k154ku9q8x

The US almost had a nuclear war with the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics for installing her missiles in Cuba in 1962, but today the US feels that it should be able to do the very same thing in Ukraine, without any objection from Russia. Please click on this link to watch a US propaganda video about World War III: https://youtu.be/_9YSovjkBks

The US is sponsoring today 2 wars in Ukraine and Gaza in order that US oligarchs could make a ton of money, despite the fact that these wars could easily lead to World War III.

The US put Julian Assange in jail to kill him, because he provided even more evidence that the US is the biggest threat to peace!

A real democracy threatens no one.
