The West, on the contrary, talks about democracy, but its actions are 100% imperialism. The best example of that is the West’s unconditional support for the genocide against the indigenous people of Palestine against international law.
The United States, which claims to be the champion of democracy, has 40 million US citizens living in poverty, and 201 million more living from paycheck to paycheck.
Moreover, the US has consistently refused to comply with 42 United Nations’ resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory in the meantime (gentrification), and half of the people in Puerto Rico live in poverty too!
The West’s «democracy» is imperialism.
