The United States (US) was the industrial powerhouse when it launched globalization, and thought that it would keep the US there. The US preached free trade without tariffs, because no other nation could compete with it. The People’s Republic of China took advantage of globalization, and has beaten the US in its own game.
Now suddenly, the US claims that China is a national security threat. No she is not. China is, however, the champion of capitalism, globalization, and free trade! Today, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are Americans, and 40 million US citizens live in poverty and 201 million more live from paycheck to paycheck, the US is willing to provoke World War III in order to try to maintain its hegemony.
The US, the so-called «champion of democracy», believes in win-lose relationships.
