The United States (US) Empire has votoed once again the United Nations’ (UN) Charter by proposing to ethnically cleanse the indigenous people of Palestine from Gaza, so that it could be developed for the rich. The US has never been about democracy. It has always been about imperialism. That is why while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens, 40 million Americans live in poverty, and 201 million live from paycheck to paycheck.
And, that is why the US has consistently refused to comply with 42 UN’s resolutions demanding that it immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. That has resulted, as what the US wants in Gaza, that 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned our national territory (gentrification), and half of the 3 million people living in Puerto Rico live in poverty.
The UN needs to veto the US if it wants to honor its Charter.
