The United States (US) has never been about democracy. If it were, would 38 million US citizens today live in poverty, and 201 million be living from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are Americans? The world already regards the US as the biggest threat to peace, and with good reasons. The US is supporting the genocide against the indigenous people of Palestine against international law. The US is at war today against the Russian Federation, which has the most nuclear weapons in the world, in order to colonize her. And, the US wants to fight the People’s Republic of China under the pretext that it supports Taiwan’s inalienable right to self-determination and independence. But if that were true, why has the US constantly refused to comply with 42 United Nations’ resolutions demanding that it immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans?
The US frames its wars as battles between democracy and autocracy. Democracy, however, is not what the US fights for! BRICS, who does, will fight against the US’ ambition of creating its global dictatorship.
