Socialism’s next step

By José M. López Sierra

Capitalism hated the Russian Revolution so much that Britain, France, Japan and the United States (US) sent troops to Russia in order to destroy her 1917 revolution. Obviously, these nations have never believed in self-determination and independence! Please click on this link for more: https://youtu.be/AQYXYrkF95M

As the US’ hegemony declines, 85% of nations are looking to create a real democratic and multipolar world order. What could be the next step for socialism?

Since you can’t get more democratic than to have workers themselves run and operate their own workplaces that should be socialism’s next mountain to climb.

Oligarchs will try hard to prevent worker cooperatives, but by studying and learning from history, workers could make it happen.

15 % of the world’s population make up the G7, and these nations claim to be democracies. Ironically however, the G7 is supporting today the genocide against the indigenous people of Palestine against international law!

The US, in particular, has consistently ignored 42 United Nations’ resolutions demanding that it immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. In the meantime, 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned our national territory (gentrification), and half of the 3 million who have remained in Puerto Rico live in poverty. https://webtv.un.org/en/asset/k1w/k1wb1xdn6i https://webtv.un.org/en/asset/k15/k154ku9q8x

Capitalism can never create democracy.
