How could the United States (US) claim to be the champion of democracy, when the nation it calls undemocratic, the People’s Republic of China, has less inequality than the US? China has already eradicated her poverty, while the US still has 38 million Americans living in poverty, and 60% living from paycheck to paycheck! The Americans themselves say that we are only 33% satisfied with our government, while over 90% of Chinese say that they are satisfied with theirs!
How could the US claim to be the champion of democracy, when it is unconditionally financing today the genocide against the indigenous people of Palestine against international law?
And, how could the US claim to be the champion of democracy, when it has consistently refused to comply with 42 United Nations’ resolutions demanding that it immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.
The West has never been a democracy!
