The United States (US) dollar has been the world’s reserve currency for the past 80 years. The global majority, however, has decided to put an end to that due to US imperialism. The majority of US citizens are disgusted by our government’s support of the genocide against the indigenous people of Palestine against international law! The US acts contrary to what the majority of its citizens want in order to make the rich richer. US Major General Smedley Butler warned us about that in his book WAR IS A RACKET.
While 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens, 38 million Americans live in poverty, and 60% live from paycheck to paycheck. Puerto Ricans live in colonialism, because the US has consistently refused to comply with 42 United Nations’ resolutions demanding that it immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.
Fortunately, there is hope in the horizon, as the world de-dollarizes to a real democracy.
