Is the US about democracy?

If the United States (US) were about democracy, why does the world believe that it is the biggest threat to peace? With the wars in Ukraine and Gaza, and the US wanting yet another war against China, the US is the undisputed champion of imperialism! If the US were about democracy, why are 38 million Americans today living in poverty while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens?

If the US were about democracy, why are only 33% of Americans satisfied with our government, while 90% of Chinese are satisfied with theirs? Are you aware that China has already eradicated her poverty since 2020, despite having 4 times the US’ population?

If the US were about democracy, why is it sponsoring the artificial colonial settler state of Israel’s genocide against the indigenous people of Palestine?

And, if the US were about democracy, why does it hypocritically say that it supports Taiwan’s inalienable right to self-determination and independence, while, at the same time, it consistently refuses to comply with 42 United Nations’ (UN) resolutions demanding that it immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans?

The UN will issue yet another resolution saying exactly the same thing as all the others. The US will ignore that one too, because the US would never do anything that benefits 99% of its citizens.

The US is about maintaining its hegemony!
