The United States (US) is an illusionary democracy. That illusion is manufactured by the US’ government via the mass media’s manipulation of information to the public. That is why 38 million Americans today live in poverty, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens.
That is why today the US unconditionally supports Israel’s genocide in Gaza, while the majority of its citizens oppose it.
That is why the US engages in wars around the world, rather than to spend its citizen’s money at home.
And, that is why the US has consistently refused to comply with 42 United Nations’ resolutions demanding that it immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.
The People’s Republic of China is the world’s manufacturing champion. The US, however, is the undisputed champion of manufacturing its own illusion of being the “champion of democracy”.
“Champion of democracy” is just an illusion.
