If the US were the champion of democracy, it would not be unconditionally supporting Israel in its war against the Palestinians in their own homeland of Palestine.
Everybody knows that Israel is committing the war crimes of collective punishment, ethnic cleansing, and genocide against the Palestinians with impunity, because the US is providing Israel with both the means and the diplomatic cover.
Since the US, on the contrary, is the champion of imperialism, it is considering a regime change in Iran in the hope of trying to maintain its hegemony forever. The problem with that is that the US can’t convince the majority of the world that it is the champion of democracy, by going against the will of 90% of the international community.
The world, convinced that the US is the biggest threat to peace, is now increasingly treating it as the pariah state that it is. Democracy, therefore, is impossible under the US’ “Rules Based Order”, because the US specifically designed it to maintain its hegemony forever.
“Rules Based Order” means perpetual regime changes.
