The US, like Ukraine, is against her own citizens

Both the United States (US) and Ukraine have governments that are against the majority of their own citizens.

Michael Hudson mentioned in the video that everybody knew, by the 19th Century, that it would be beneficial for the state’s economy to provide free health care for everyone. The US, however, has refused to govern for the benefit of her own citizens, and that makes her the failed state that she is today!
Michael also makes the important point that when a country uses the US dollar as her national currency, she gives up her sovereignty. She does, because that country loses the ability of printing her own money to finance her citizens’ needs. Such a nation, in essence, becomes a US colony like Puerto Rico. Puerto Ricans do not have our own citizenship, and use the US dollar.
US has refused to comply with 42 United Nations resolutions asking her to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. Has the US refused to do so, because that is against democracy and human rights? No. She has done so, because that benefits US oligarchs.
US is a failed state for her citizens.
