While the United States (US) has focused exclusively in having the most dominate military power in the world, the People’s Republic of China has focused on solving the problems of her citizens. That is why China, having 4 times the US’ population, has already lifted 800 million of her citizens out of poverty. That is about 2 and a half times the population of the US. The US, on the other hand, still has 38 million of her citizens living in poverty. Moreover, 300,000 US citizens die every year from preventable cases.
80% of the world have a more favorable view of China and Russia than that of the US. In fact, the world regards the US as the biggest threat to peace!
If democracy means that a government represents the will of the people, then China’s win-win philosophy aligns better to it, than the US’ win-lose. Are you aware that 90% of Chinese approve of their government, while 40% of Americans approve of theirs?
China just wants to be all that she could be.
