Is another NATO base worth a nuclear war?

By José M. López Sierra – Puerto Rico

The war in Ukraine is because the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) wanted Ukraine to become a NATO member, although Russia had expressed repeatedly that that represented an existential threat to her national security.

Russia has the most nuclear weapons in the world. One would have thought that NATO would not have shrugged off Russia’s concern like that! Click on the following link to watch a video to learn whether NATO could win a nuclear war against Russia: https://youtu.be/dxJHecyYBno

The United States (US) government (USG) has 800 military bases around the world. Had the USG used diplomacy, instead of “it’s my way or the military way”, the world would not be in a “nuclear war threat”. But, this is why, based on repeated Gallup Polls, the world considers the USG, and not Russia or China, as the biggest threat to peace.

The US Military Industrial Complex (MIC), of course, is making a lot of money sending arms to Ukraine, and to NATO members. Are you aware that the US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin was on the board of directors of one of those MIC companies – Raytheon Technologies? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lloyd_Austin

If the West really has democracies, it is time that we tell our government that we don’t want to die over another NATO member. Better yet, NATO should be abolished altogether!

NATO is a threat to humanity!
