I would add that Puerto Rico has been a US colony for the past 123 years. The US government (USG) is currently committing a crime against humanity, ever since the United Nations’ (UN) Charter prohibited colonialism in 1945. Moreover, the USG has ignored 40 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0
And, the USG does all that in the name of defending democracy!
But the world, conversely, considers the USG the biggest threat to peace. Therefore, the USG, of all people, has no business pointing its finger on any human rights violator.
US has no shame of her past!
