The President of Ukraine must have been aware that the capitalists have Russia surrounded with military bases. He, however, was willing to join the capitalist gangsters, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, to put yet another hostile military base at Russia’s doorstep.
If Ukraine would have really wanted peace, she would have never gotten herself involved with NATO, and asked to join that terrorist organization.
Ukraine is being played by the United States (US) government (USG) to provide a war for its Military Industrial Complex. That is the only way the USG can now make money, since it decided in the 1980’s to deindustrialize itself to make US capitalists wealthier. That is why 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens!
Conversely, the last thing Russia needs is a war at home, where she could make money trading among her neighbors. The USG desperately needs a war to try to maintain, a little longer, the hegemony that it has enjoyed since World War II.
Too bad Zelensky didn’t see that the US was setting him up!
