Capitalism’s obsession with squashing socialism

By José M. López Sierra – Puerto Rico

The United States (US) government (USG) has demonized Cuba since her revolution in 1959. The USG has had a blockade against her for over 60 years. Almost 100% of the international community is in favor of the USG immediately stopping its blockade. But the so-called, “beacon of democracy” refuses. No wonder the world regards the USG as the biggest threat to peace!

Capitalists’ obsession also motivated the USG to militarily invade Puerto Rico 123 years ago to make her its colony forever. The USG is still today in violation of the United Nations’ (UN) Charter of 1945 that prohibits colonialism. The USG is also in violation of 40 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

If socialism is as bad as the USG says, it should self-destruct on its own. However, Cuba has survived, despite the US’ attempt to destroy her.

The USG knows that capitalism is only for the 1% of its citizens. Therefore, it must desperately continue to try to tell as many big lies as possible to dissuade a revolution against it. https://todosunidosdescolonizarpr.blogspot.com/

There is no such thing as a free lunch in the US.
