Threat to justice

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said that, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” The United States (US) government (USG) was the reason he said that. Click on the following link to watch a documentary about some of the injustices in the US: https://youtu.be/TwwdieGdwc0
As a religious leader, Martin understood the need for people to find peace. But, in order for peace to be had, one must have justice. And this is why today, 54 years after the assassination of Martin, the US is closer than ever to another civil war.
31 years before Martin was born, the USG committed another injustice. The USG militarily invaded Puerto Rico to make her its colony. And that was 33 years after the end of the US Civil War that formally ended slavery.
The USG again committed an injustice by refusing in 1945 to comply with the United Nations’ (UN) Charter that prohibits colonialism, because it is a crime against humanity. And as if that was not enough, the USG has ignored 40 UN resolutions, thus far, asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0
The people must force our government to represent all of us. The people want justice for all. And when that happens, we’ll have peace too! https://todosunidosdescolonizarpr.blogspot.com/
Absence of peace anywhere is a threat to peace everywhere.
