Capitalism and democracy are antagonistic. The United States (US), that proclaims herself as being the beacon of democracy, has today only 13% of her citizens satisfied with our government. Where is democracy for Puerto Ricans for the past 123 years? The US government militarily invaded Puerto Rico to make her its colony in 1898.
Where is US democracy when she has refused for the past 76 years to comply with the United Nations’ (UN) Charter that prohibits colonialism, because it is a crime against humanity?
