The United States (US) government (USG) seems to be very reluctant to hold President Trump criminally responsible for the coup attempt at the Capitol on January 6, 2021. Click on the following link for more: https://youtu.be/01qMyfMN10A
Most people agree that Trump violated the law. Will the USG regard Trump as being above the law? If so, what would that say about US democracy? Isn’t a democracy based on the rule of law?
The USG is giving the world additional evidence that it is really not a democracy.
87% of US citizens are today dissatisfied with our government. That same majority of the people must engage in permanent resistance to save ourselves.
No rule of law no democracy.
