Is US the beacon of democracy?

Not by a long shot!
The United States (US) government (USG) portrays itself as the beacon of democracy. The USG unilaterally sanctions, anyone that contradicts its hegemony, even the International Criminal Court (ICC). The USG favors independence for Hong Kong and Taiwan, but not for Puerto Rico, which has been a US colony for the past 123 years. That constitutes a crime against humanity!
Is the US a nation that represents all of her people? No. It never has. Right now, 75% of US citizens are dissatisfied with our government. Click on the following link for more: https://news.gallup.com/poll/1669/general-mood-country.aspx
Majority rules in a real democracy. Yet, in US democracy, the minority, at this moment 24%, rules. US democracy is broken for the majority of US citizens, and for the rest of the world, as polls repeatedly indicate that the world considers the USG as the biggest threat to peace.
75% of the people must engage in permanent resistance to force our government to comply with international law. That alone will demonstratively increase satisfaction at home and abroad.
US democracy isn’t democracy if 75% of us are dissatisfied!
